Kenneth Lyle Hinson

Kenneth Hinson beloved husband of Janice Hinson and father of David and Dennis Hinson. Born in Rock Hill, South Carolina where he joined the Navy. Served 4 years before landing in California in 1957 where he met his wife of 64 years at Sunshine Biscuit in Oakland California.  

Ken moved to Fremont California where he and Janice would reside for 60 years, loved by all that had the chance to meet them. Kenny, as many would call him in the neighborhood, was known for his Christmas spirit by evidence of the thousands of lights decorating his home each year. Still climbing the roof of his home to decorate well into his 70’s.  

Known by his 5 grandchildren Andrew, Nick, Alexandria, Tyler and Anthony and 4 great grandchildren Laila, Lucas, Lincoln and Maggie as “Papa”. Ken loved to attend his grandchildren's sporting events including baseball, softball, BMX riding and Karate tournaments. Ken native to the East Coast loved to go back and visit family and friends in Carolina and Florida as well as enjoy a cruise from time to time.  He will be dearly missed but live in the hearts of us all!
