Rudolph Ray (Rudy Ray) Hanes

February 11, 1949 – March 1, 2022

                                                     

Rudolph Ray (Rudy Ray) Hanes born February 11, 1949, passed away peacefully March 1, 2022. He was born in Yuba City, California.  His family has resided in the Sharps Lane Community since 1948. He retired from working in the construction industry.  After retirement he pursued his love in Entertainment and started R & H Productions which enabled San Joaquin County and surrounding areas the opportunity to enjoy quality entertainment. The annual festival became known as “Jazz On The Waterfront”, which featured well known jazz artists and other special guest performers and host. He is survived by his sister, Mary Armstrong of Sacramento, CA and brother Victor Merle of Stockton.

Viewing will be Wednesday March 9, 2022, 1:00pm till 4:00pm, and services will be Thursday, March 10, 2022, 11:00am at Cunningham Funeral Home 425 E. Harding Way.
